The campaign kickoff received media coverage from t.v. stations and local newspapers.  Getting the word out about safe travel during the holidays is vital.

Public Safety Secretary Jim Ford is flanked by law enforcement as he makes remarks.  19 Delaware law enforcement agencies are conducting child restraint and DUI checkpoints and roving patrols during the six week campaign to keep our roadways safe.

Director Roberts stands beside the DUI Victim's Tree.  Each colored bulb on the tree represents either an alcohol related fatality or injury during the six week Safe Family Holiday Campaign.  As of 12/9 there were two red bulbs (alcohol-related deaths) and 22 green bulbs (for the injuries).
